Tonight, Brent Burns and his fellow Canadians will take the ice against Team Europe in the 2016 best-of-three World Cup of Hockey final.

Team Canada has only trailed for less than two minutes throughout the entire tournament, going 4-0-0 in the process. The talent-filled Canadians, have a star NHL players at every position, and Brent Burns is one of those star players.

Burns headed went into the World Cup Final coming off an extremely impressive season with the San Jose Sharks, leading the NHL in goals among defensemen. He’s a dynamic offensive force with a deadly shot that was put on display against Czech Republic to give Canada an early 2-0 lead.

Very few can stop one of Burns’ patented one-timers.

While, San Jose will have at least one player come to camp (Shark teammate Mikkel Boedker plays for Team Europe) as a world cup hockey champion, chances are there will be four, Joe Thornton, Logan Couture, Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Brent Burns.

Even if the game is said to be a “powerhouse versus underdog” situation, it will sure be an exciting and entertaining final and this little boy is sure to be watching:
